Tony Preston

Managing Director

Tony is an experienced leader within the building industry with more than 30 years’ experience working on projects up to the value of $800 million. Tony is a highly talented Master Builder who is very familiar with the dynamic nature and complex processes of the construction life cycle from conception and planning to completion and handover.

Tony has excellent technical knowledge, communication and organisational skills, as well as analytical abilities. He is also passionate about the client’s needs and is consistently mindful of the overall project objective to ensure that the end result is always an exceptional project.

Over the course of his career, Tony has demonstrated strategic planning of all management operations and construction activities. He is dedicated to ensuring the successful completion of projects which have exceeded the client’s expectations of time, budget and quality.

Accounts Manager

As our account manager, Leah oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and HR. She manages supplier payments, payroll processing, and compliance across multiple areas.

Leah has developed an understanding of the building industry, which helps her expertly manage Preston Building's financial operations. She also plays a role in onboarding new team members and streamlining Preston Building's internal processes. Dependable and detail-orientated, Leah is key to the seamless day-to-day running of the administration side of our business.

Paul Dopper is a seasoned construction expert with a remarkable career spanning over three decades. His extensive background in various construction roles, including estimating, project management, site management, and design management, reflects a profound understanding of the industry.

With a diverse skill set encompassing carpentry, design, drafting, and steel fabrication, Paul has consistently delivered successful projects in multiple sectors across different regions of Australia. He's a valuable asset to to our team when it comes to handling diverse projects with precision and efficiency.

At Preston Building, Paul’s expertise helps ensure every project runs smoothly, no matter the scale or complexity.

 

 

Ryan Czajkowskyj

Project Manager

Ryan is an experienced project manager with more than 15 years in the industry. Starting as a carpenter, and progressively moving into management, Ryan has gained hands-on experience across all aspects of construction, allowing him to effectively oversee projects from the ground up.

With strong leadership and communication skills, Ryan commits himself to ensuring our projects run smoothly from start to finish. He always takes a proactive approach to problem-solving, stepping up to manage challenges to ensure projects always stay on track and within budget.

A team player, Ryan leads by example, contributing to a positive, results-driven environment in the office and on our job sites. His professionalism and courteous nature make him a trusted point of contact for Preston Building clients, while his expertise in both commercial and residential construction allows him to navigate complex projects with complete confidence.

Rochelle Holdsworth

Marketing Manager

With a Bachelor in Communication, Majors in PR & Marketing, Rochelle has years of experience in digital marketing, working across both the private and public sectors. At Preston Building, she plays a key role in creating engaging digital content, managing social media platforms, and developing marketing strategies to promote our projects and services.

Rochelle ensures a strong online presence for Preston Building, helping us showcase our experience in residential, commercial and industrial construction. Through impactful campaigns, she effectively communicates our commitment to quality and reliability, strengthening our reputation in the building industry.

Vanessa Durrington

Office Admin and Bookkeeping

Vanessa has a strong background in administration and bookkeeping, with experience working in schools, small businesses, and community services. She’s confident working with Xero, managing reconciliations, payroll, and BAS, and keeping office operations running smoothly. Organised, reliable, and approachable, she’s a great support to both our team and clients, always bringing a friendly and professional touch to her work.

Glenn is an experienced carpenter and builder with over 30 years of industry knowledge and expertise. Throughout his career, he's developed a good understanding of both residential and commercial construction, enabling him to successfully manage a wide range of projects, both large and small. Glenn oversees multiple sites at any given time, ensuring each project is completed on schedule and to the highest standards.

As a qualified carpenter and licensed builder, Glenn is well-versed in every aspect of construction. His ability to adapt to the unique needs of each project ensures the successful delivery of high-quality work across both the residential and commercial sectors.

With years of hands-on experience, he's an invaluable asset to the Preston Building team.

Jeff is a highly skilled Carpenter/Builder with over 25 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction. He has skills in a wide range of construction disciplines but is particularly skilled in timber applications.

With a solid foundation in both residential and commercial projects, Jeff brings practical knowledge and problem-solving skills to every job site. His unique skill set and experience allow him to tackle even the most complex timber applications, making him an essential part of our team.

Glenn is dependable and hardworking - a qualified carpenter with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He takes great pride in every project he undertakes and is highly adaptable as he moves between projects. As our lead carpenter, he plays a big role in both residential and commercial remedial works.

Glenn's extensive experience ensures that every project, no matter how challenging, is completed to the highest standards. He's trusted to handle even the most demanding remediation work with confidence and skill.

Stevie is Preston Building's First Year Apprentice Carpenter and joined our team in February 2025. He’s always polite, friendly, and brings a great attitude to the team. We’re excited to see him grow in his carpentry career and continue making a positive impact on each project.
